Yes Men Hit Halliburton
On a lighter note. At the end of last week, the Yes Men, a group of activists known for their stunts against corporate executives, targetted Halliburton, the global oil services company.
Pretending to be Halliburton executives they gave a presentation at a trade conference in Florida advocating the use of “SurvivaBall”, a large inflatable suit that provides safety from global warming.
“This technology is the only rational response to abrupt climate change,” Fred Wolf, a “representative” of Halliburton told the attentive and appreciative audience. The Yes Men have also set up a spoof Web site, called halliburtoncontracts.com. We just had to show you a picture of the SurvivaBall! All you oil execs out there better go buy one!!
