Press Conference: The Justice Package for COP30 and How to Land It

20 November, Belém, Brazil – Today, Oil Change International will be convening a press conference at COP30 with energy and policy experts and climate activists to present the current state of play on the COP30 political package, and how decisions on the just transition, adaptation, fair public finance, and a fossil fuel phaseout roadmap need to be delivered together in order to achieve an equitable outcome to this year’s UN climate talks. 

Expert spokespeople will cover the latest political developments and intel from inside the negotiations, what needs to happen in the next 24 hours to land an equitable COP30 outcome package, and how these tracks need to work in unison to build concrete progress to implementing a fast and fair fossil fuel phaseout.
