George Clooney may be one of the most expensive actors on the planet, who has recently tackled some difficult subjects in his films, but is he up for this one?

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), from the Niger Delta has asked Clooney to visit the impoverished region, under his mandate as the United Nations’ new “messenger of peace”
In an open letter MEND wrote: “”Mr Clooney, MEND extends an invitation to you to see things for yourself and is willing to work with you and other credible peace makers of international repute to stop Nigeria from plunging into the abyss of war,” the letter said.
The United Nations named Clooney, who has campaigned for refugees in Darfur, a “messenger of peace” on Friday to promote peacekeeping.
Do you think he will be seen in the Delta any time soon?
