Reactive: Miliband’s Gaza “reset” must include investigation on Vitol’s oil supplies to Israel

In response to British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband announcing a “comprehensive reset” of policy on Israel, calling for “accountability for what’s happened in Gaza,” Andy Rowell, Oil Change International Contributing Editor, said:

“Ed Miliband has promised accountability for what happened in Gaza. That accountability must extend to the corporations that fuel Israel’s genocide. Vitol, a global oil trader with a major hub in London, supplied nearly 14 million barrels of crude oil to Israel between October 2023 and June 2026. If this ‘comprehensive reset’ is meaningful, the UK Government must investigate Vitol’s and other companies’ role and take action.”
