Response to State Department’s denial of TransCanada suspension request
TransCanada knows a rejection is just around the corner and made a desperate attempt at a political maneuver to avoid such an outcome. The President can end these games by rejecting the pipeline today. Our country, and our climate, would be better for it.

Oil Change International reaction to State Department’s denial
of TransCanada request for suspension of KXL application
In response to the State Departments rejection of a request by TransCanada to suspend its application for the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, David Turnbull, Campaigns Director at Oil Change International released the following statement:
“Today’s denial by the State Department is about as surprising as an eventual rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline will be at this point. TransCanada knows a rejection is just around the corner and made a desperate attempt at a political maneuver to avoid such an outcome. The President can end these games by rejecting the pipeline today. Our country, and our climate, would be better for it.”
